BookStart Baby – Newborns

These leaflets are currently delivered in partnership with our colleagues in the Registrars team. You should receive this leaflet when you register your baby.

BookStart Baby

These packs are delivered in partnership with our Health Visiting Teams. These packs should be gifted you before baby reaches 12 months old.

BookStart Treasure & Corner

BookStart Treasure: This offer is currently delivered via nurseries and early years settings and gifted to children aged 3 – 4 in the year before they start primary school.

BookStart Corner: This programme is delivered via our partners in Children’s Centres.

Please be aware these offers are changing in 2022.
Orders placed for packs will be fulfilled by the end of July 2022.
New packs will be used from September/October 2022.

We will still be offering SEN packs and Dual Languages books as before. Order forms for these will go out in September 2022 for the 2022/23 academic year.

We’ll update this page with more information once it becomes public.


BookStart Time to Read

This programme ensures children in Reception/Foundation level classes receive a book of their own. This project is delivered direct to schools and is not something the library is involved with directly.

Pyjamarama is back for 2022!
